Emergency slide deployment test facility ensures proper inflation and operation.
To inflate the emergency slides quickly and reliably CO2 is used. A part of CAA internal ability is to test and re-fill cylinders, ranging from O2 and CO2.
The slides are inspected for proper deployment, leaks, deterioration, and wear in addition to assuring the safety signal lights are operational. The slides are repacked and certified in compliance to manufacturer and regulatory specification.
